The CADD Building and Maintenance group is an Indigenous company that has developed strong, long-term relationships within government and Indigenous communities. Our personnel have a proven track record delivering construction and maintenance service projects in both metropolitan and remote communities.
Our key point of difference is having a strong, experienced Indigenous leader working with a settled and experienced team, as well as a multi-faceted construction team with extensive experience in regional and remote work.
We are able to problem solve and work closely with all stakeholders to deliver an efficient and quality project on time and on budget.
Organisation Structure

Daniel Tucker
Chairman
As one of twelve appointees to the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council, Daniel is a highly respected and successful Aboriginal leader and businessman.
Daniel Tucker is also the founding Managing Director of Carey, founded in 1995, and has been its Director since inception. Daniel has over 28 years’ experience in the mining industry having held executive roles in both ASX listed public companies and other private companies.
Daniel has won numerous Industry and Government awards including:
- Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations Outstanding Manager Award in the 2003 Corporate Leaders for Indigenous Employment Awards;
- Ethnic Business Awards 2010, Winner Indigenous in Business Category;
- Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 Service Category, Western Region; and
- Ethnic Business Awards 2013, Champion of Champions, Indigenous in Business.
Other positions Daniel currently holds include:
- Inaugural Member of Prime Ministers Indigenous Advisory Council under the Abbott Federal Government; and
- Founder and Chairman of the Wongatha Education Trust.
He has previously served on the Council of Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and on the boards of a number of private and publicly Australian Stock Exchange listed companies. Daniel has also been an active member of numerous Community based organisations.

David Edwards
Executive Director
David was a founding shareholder of MACA Australia. Prior to that he started both Cooks Construction and BGC Contracting. With a history of working for and with key clients in the mining/ construction and industrial sectors since 1978, Dave has built a strong reputation for being able to deliver quality service with minimal fuss. More recently David set up The Add Business Group to deliver construction and maintenance services within Perth.
He has held general managerial positions with major mining and civil contractors, and has brought that knowledge with him to further develop the CADD Building and Maintenance group.
David is a founding supporter of Oz Harvest, and the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
